nbn plans with $0 to connect and a local team behind them.
Same nbn network the big providers use. Unlimited data, no lock‑in contract, and support from Wynyard instead of a queue and a script.
Tell us about the household
How many people, how many devices, and whether anyone works from home or games seriously. We’ll tell you which plan actually fits — including the cheaper one, if that’s the honest answer.
Start an nbn enquiry →We’ll also check what nbn technology is at your address, so you know what speeds are actually available.
Which nbn is at your address?
The technology already installed at your place decides which speeds you can actually buy. Here’s the short version — or just send us your address and we’ll look it up for you.
FTTP — fibre to the premises
Fibre runs the whole way to your house. This is the good one: every speed tier is available, right up to 1000/100.
Look for a white nbn connection box on an internal wall.
FTTN — fibre to the node
Fibre to a cabinet in the street, then copper for the last stretch. Speeds depend on how far you are from that cabinet, so the top tiers often aren’t worth paying for.
Plugs into a phone socket on the wall.
nbn Fixed Wireless
nbn’s own wireless service, used in rural areas. Different plans and different speed tiers from the wired ones — they’re listed separately below.
Antenna on the roof, connected to an nbn tower.
Unlimited data. $0 to connect. Cancel anytime.
Ten plans across the two nbn technology types. Speeds shown are the maximum for that tier — what you get depends on your connection and what’s happening in your house.

Most people are paying for speed they never use.
A 4K Netflix stream needs about 25Mbps. A Teams call needs about 4. The number that actually matters for most households is how many things are going at once — not the headline figure.
If you tell us what happens in your house on a Tuesday night, we’ll point you at the right tier. We’d rather sell you the $95 plan you’ll be happy with than the $130 one you’ll cancel.
Easier than people expect.
If you’re already on nbn, there’s no technician and no new hardware in the wall. It’s a paperwork change.
Send us your address
We check what nbn technology you’ve got and which speed tiers are genuinely available there, then recommend a plan.
We order the changeover
We place the order with nbn and let you know the date. In most cases you keep using your current service right up until it flicks across.
Plug in and go
We’ll send through your settings, or supply a pre‑configured router if you’d rather not touch it. Then you cancel the old provider.
The questions we get asked most.
Will I actually get the speed on the plan?
On FTTP, usually very close to it. On FTTN it varies a lot more, because the copper between the street cabinet and your house sets the ceiling — some addresses physically can’t reach 100Mbps no matter what you pay. We check what’s realistic at your address before recommending a tier, and if you end up on a plan your line can’t support, we’ll move you down and drop your bill.
Do I need a new modem?
Usually not — most nbn‑ready routers will work, and we’ll send you the settings. If yours is on its last legs or you’d rather it just worked out of the box, we can supply one already configured. [EDIT — add your router price here if you sell them.]
Will my internet be down while I switch?
Generally there’s only a short cutover, often just minutes. Don’t cancel your old provider until we confirm the new service is live — we’ll tell you when it’s safe to make that call.
Is there really no connection fee?
Correct — $0 to connect on every nbn plan. If your property has never had an nbn connection installed (a new build, for example), nbn co may charge a new development fee, and we’d tell you that up front before you commit.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, and there’s no fee for it. Try a tier, and if it’s more or less than you need, tell us and we’ll move you. Everything is month‑to‑month.
What’s a static IP for, and do I need one?
It gives your connection a fixed address on the internet, which you need if you want to reach security cameras, a NAS or a work VPN from outside the house. Most households don’t need it. It’s $5/month if you do.
Why would I pick this over your fixed wireless?
Two reasons: you’re outside our fixed wireless coverage, or you want speeds above 60/30 which our own network doesn’t reach. If you’re near Central Wynyard, East Wynyard or Table Cape and 60/30 is plenty, our fixed wireless is cheaper, the install is free, and we control the whole thing end to end.
Can I get a home phone number on nbn?
Yes. We’re a licensed carrier and can add a VoIP line, and port your existing number across. Mention it when you enquire.
We’ll check your address and tell you what’s possible.
Send through where you live and what the household looks like. We’ll come back with the nbn technology at your address, the plan we’d recommend, and what it costs. No pressure and no call unless you ask for one.

Speeds are offered up to the listed rates, and FTTN services can vary more than FTTP. Actual performance can also be affected by factors such as your Wi‑Fi strength, the number of devices and users online at the same time, the performance of the websites and apps you’re using, and network congestion outside our control. 500/20, 750/50 and 1000/100 tiers are available on FTTP addresses only. Static IP available for an extra $5/month. Way South Pty Ltd · ABN 31 679 458 809 · ACMA Carrier Licence No. 648.
